rambles on Sunday

Josh is in the studio recording music, Noah is in the basement...surfing the internet....eating....or laying around...possibly texting, scanning videos....seeking information all at his finger tips. I am not 100 percent sure exactly what he is doing...but he just popped up here and asked if we could, go for a ride, where he drives and I sit...loose as goose, not tightly wound and ready to pounce, and let him...drive us to various places...for practice, as he works towards that sacred milestone: drivers licence.

I am biding my time, hoping josh will get out of the studio...so he can switch out...Josh in passenger seat, Noah the driver. Honestly I am never really loose.... I am more wound, and therefore I am a tense passenger when Noah is concerned...and tend to be a bit...of a crappy driving teacher. Know thy self. So delaying and doing things I should anyway...Like watching videos, finding and cutting coupons, doing an online edX lesson my course work...and blogging (which is not really a necessity but it does feel relieving at times...familiar and relaxing).

and...it means...I have been kind of floating around today. Josh is done with his session.... I have properly.... in good time.... snatched the opportunity, to ask Josh to take Noah out for a late lunch and to fit in some practice driving time. He agreed to it eaisly! They have now left. And I am back to coupon seeking and tea sipping.

Waiting for a safe return, where Josh I can then go out and do the shopping. Tomorrow is Noah's Birthday. As I do the day before the birthday I remember... I was cleaning the house.... cleaning and getting ready for the big event that was scheduled due to his late arrival for an induction, we would report to Dunkirk Hospital promptly at 8 a.m.... Staying busy: I was ... focused. Cleaning and wondering what he would look like. 18 years latter, Josh and he are currently out practicing driving...and I am waiting for them to come home safely. Hoping Noah will choose to stay home tonight and maybe help me make dinner then possibly we will all pile onto the sofa with the dogs to watch a movie or some of the Olympics. Or...he will choose to go out and stay at his friends... Here is in interesting interview I watched earlier Ginsberg commenting on Karoac's appearance on "Firing Line". I watched that particular "Firing Line" episode referenced in this video and also found it interesting. Worth watching both.
