May brings us New Orleans, a Dodge Charger, and small adventures.

This has been a pretty amazing May.

Tomorrow Josh and I leave for New Orleans. I am very excited even though Tropical Storm Alberto is working it's way up through the Gulf and there will be a lot of rain. A week ago I had no idea we would be going to New Orleans, but Josh got a call for a Job...and well...now it's happening and I am thrilled. I will just make due being wet, and visit the Art Museum. :D Today had a unique start. We went Kayaking this morning. This is a first for us. We loved it and want to do it again. I know Grafton has Kayaks, so we will be putting that on our list of things to do this summer. The winter was so long, Josh was really feeling forlorn for the warm sun, and this morning he got a great dose of all the bright warmth.

Josh's Dodge Charger Dreams Came True

Right at this very moment Josh is getting a massage. This was his birthday gift from me to him. His massagist came right to our house and set up in the studio. He turned 41 last week, though he had to work the RPI graduation doing sound, we have been celebrating though out the week. Yesterday we drove to Syracuse and picked up a 2014 Dodge Charger. He had been looking for a new pre-owened car for some time. He wants to have the van just for work, and a car of his own to drive. He held out and found an amazing deal. 34,000.00 miles and the guy wanted $13,900.00 Josh got him down to $11,000.00! This car sells for over $15,000.00 if you get it at a dealer for this year and the amount of miles on it.

It is safe to say that Josh is probably feeling pretty good right this moment.

A few days ago we had the Big Brothers Big Sisters Chef Challenge. It was a lot of fun. This is Josh and I after the event, we went out with the BBBSCR crew to celebrate a successful fundraising event.

I have been matched with my little sister though BBBS! It has been a whole lot of fun getting to know my Little. During the Tulip fest I had the chance to take her and show her the flowers.

Noah will be watching Willow and Hedy, as well as daily dog walkers coming, and all my supportive friends who will be stopping by to check in on Noah and the dogs. I sure will miss Hedy and Willow...and Noah while we are away. I recently took Noah out to brunch. I really enjoy spending time with him. I still find my self just staring at him...in wonder of all his beauty.

May has been a really fun adventurous month. It was unexpected in so many ways but perfect just for that very reason.

When we get back from New Orleans, we have the music festival Disc Jam to look forward to. :D <3 Be blessed, mote it.

peace
