This week: Cava, Verdi, Mezcal, Dandelion Vineyards and Masi

With the warm weather finding upstate New York, it feels a little bit like a party around here. All the birds are singing in jubilation. 4 am birds....noon time birds, later afternoon birds...they all have something to say about this time of year....in their sing-song way.

I have been feeling it too. This shake up...wake up to a new spring song.

This week is about some great additions to my life: Fidencio - Mezcal - smokey margaritas, yes please! Dandelion Vineyards - Lionheart of the Barossa Shiraz 2015 - Australia

Masi - Masianco - Pinot Grigio & Verduzzo... light crispy citrus...a great summer wine, we had it with a lemon quinoa spinnach salad. Pinapple for dessert.

CAVA! - Freixenet - Cordon Negro Brute Cava - Spanish...bubbly....perfect. And with all the drama of the Catalonia region of late... it makes it a little more exciting to drink.
