Snowstorm Survival

We have survived the snow storm....so far. It has been treacherous - Josh almost got frost bite while out there briefly just shoveling a small path way for us to walk. I have been sick. Resting most of the day, medicated, soothed by cough drops, littering my blankets with some tissues. I am thankful the snow strorm took place on the weekend when I had no work to do. I did manange to make quikent soup. I am in love with being home durring a snow storm. I love the way the snow looks all billowy and pristine. Its just now 6 am and the sun has not come up yet but it will be here shortly. I have a busy day and a busy week. I hope to do well at my job - there are a few things happening this week that will be new experiences with my in my new position - so I want to make sure I follow through and stay alert to any issues that may arise before they are truly issues. I feel a bit beaten down by this sickness - but the snow is uplifting, plaus I feel as if I am on the upside of the illiness. I hope to go out and help Josh shovel and get some excorsise and fresh air. Mostly things are shift into a deep hybernation mode - now is the time to really prepare for a few big things coming. I wish I wasn't sick but so be it. I will carry on and preserver. Onward.

Will the winter end?

It feels like we are in hibernation mode. The house is still out of sorts through each day it does improve. I haven't worked out enough; I am feeling it for sure. I hope to get to the gym tonight.
