April 8th

Today is a Thelemic holiday! I touched on this briefly with Josh - as he isn't very interested in Thelema - I kept it brief. But today is recognized as the first day Crowley received The Book of the Law. April 8 (Day 1): The first chapter, voiced by Nuit, the Egyptian goddess of the infinite night sky. This chapter introduces the core law: "Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law."

April 9 (Day 2): The second chapter, voiced by Hadit, representing the infinitely small point, the core of every star, and the energy of motion.

April 10 (Day 3): The third chapter, voiced by Ra-Hoor-Khuit, the Lord of the Aeon, representing the active, solar-force of the current age. I very much love the first chapter - as so many folks do, being that I am a romantic - I just gravitate to it's words and it's vibe. In the spirit of the chapter and the entire book - I have been listening to the audio of the book through out the morning, I have some meditations to enjoy latter, my reshes through out the day, and a walk in the sun planned (I already took a two mile walk this morning but more to come). I am in love with life, in love with Thelema and in love with love, of course!
